Scripture says children are a gift, a gracious blessing, and a reward. At Harlan Baptist Church, we value our children and seek to partner with families.
Our priority is to provide a safe and fun place where each child can connect, make friends, and pursue a personal journey to know and love God.

We implement child-safe policies & procedures and conduct annual background checks on every worker.

Sunday School
On Sunday mornings we offer childcare for infants & toddlers, as well as classes for pre-school and elementary age children. Our dedicated teachers help children learn God’s Word and grow closer to Him.
Children’s Church
If your child is between 3-6 years old, we offer a special class where children learn at their level. Children enjoy signing, a Bible Story, craft/color activity, games, scripture memory, and a short learning session from the New City Catechism for kids.
Awana
Here children enjoy a mid-week (Wednesdays at 6pm) experience of worship & fellowship with their peers. We help kids read and study God’s Word, offer a worship/music time with a Gospel based worship song, teach a Bible Story, assist in understanding and memorizing of a scripture verse, and provide competitive and fun games.
